We hand blow-dry your pet and use high-quality, pet-safe products and positive reinforcement.
Cat Grooming
Yes, we groom cats too. Cat grooming is by appointment only, so call to set a day.
Dental Care (teeth brushing)
Add teeth brushing to any groom (extra charge). It is grooming, not a dental exam: for a tooth or gum problem we strongly recommend a licensed veterinarian.
Paw-Pedicure (Nail Clipping)
Nail Trim (a la carte), with or without the Dremel, no full groom needed. If your dog needs a muzzle, there is a muzzle charge.

Our journey began in September 2005 here in Murrieta. Grubby Dogs is family-owned and operated, and our groomers bring more than 40 years of combined experience.
At the helm is Debra Burleson: United States Marine Corps veteran, skilled dog groomer and bather, and owner of Grubby Dogs.

How much does dog grooming cost at Grubby Dogs?
Grooming is priced by your dog's breed, weight and temperament, so we quote each dog individually. Call (951) 461-9909 with your dog's breed and coat condition and we'll give you a detailed quote. Extras like teeth brushing, nail grinding with the Dremel or a flea dip carry an extra charge.
Do I need proof of vaccinations?
Yes. We ask for proof of up-to-date vaccinations for the safety of all our furry clients. Bring your records to your first visit, or call (951) 461-9909 ahead if you have questions about which records we need.
Is there a deposit for new clients?
Yes. New clients leave a deposit to hold their first appointment, and it comes off your total grooming cost. If you cancel within 24 hours of the appointment the deposit is forfeited, so please give us at least 24 hours' notice if your plans change.
What happens when I drop my dog off?
At drop-off you'll receive a consultation and an approximate pick-up time window. Every pet gets a hand blow-dry. When your dog is done, we call you. Please pick up within an hour of our call, or a daycare fee applies.
Do you take walk-ins?
Walk-ins are always welcome, and we stay open until the last dog leaves. Call (951) 461-9909 to book. Extended operating hours are available by appointment only.
Do you groom cats?
Yes. Grubby Dogs grooms cats as well as dogs. Cat grooming is by appointment only, so please call (951) 461-9909 to set a day and tell us a little about your cat.
Do you brush dogs' teeth?
Yes, teeth brushing is an add-on to any groom. It isn't a dental exam: if you think your dog has a tooth or gum problem, we strongly recommend a licensed veterinarian, who can examine and treat it properly.
